We are part of the BHF Centre of Excellence located in the James Black Centre at King's College London, which accommodates a large component of the School of Cardiovascular Medicine & Sciences. This facility houses groups working on molecular haematology, neurobiology, translational stem research and transplantation. It provides a highly multi-disciplinary environment with excellent core facilities including genomics, proteomics, mulitphoton confocal microscopy and MRI.
DR. MATTHEW STROUDPrincipal Investigator, BHF Research FellowDr. Stroud completed his Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry at the University of Bristol, followed by his Wellcome Trust-funded PhD with Drs. Christoph Ballestrem and Richard Kammerer at the University of Manchester. Dr. Stroud undertook his postdoctoral training with Professor Ju Chen at the University of California, San Diego before moving to King's College London as a Research Fellow. More information here |
